Bowling and Billiards

So Saturday started with laundry. I know not interesting but it has to be done sometime. I have to actually walk to another building to do it all. But it is fun to meet some French people while I am waiting the hour and a half.
The night was a blast. Two friends and I went out to Plan de Compagne, just 30 minute drive from Aix. This is like the little little Las Vegas of southern France. My friend Nizar, the one with the car, is the son of the Ambassador from Libya to France. Pretty cool, huh. And so we went out there and went to this huge bowling/billiards place. I think there were about 40 lanes and probably another 40 tables. It was a site to see, most everything in France it small. So we played “cut-throat” a couple of times, and then moved on to bowling. It was fun. I have not been bowling in years, I think. And I actually won the first game with a score of 115. And I had 3 strikes (not all in a row tho). So we played another and ordered another round from the bar. The night was good. We made it back to town by around 1 am. I can’t wait to go again.
