wow. long week

well, the first week of classes is over. i have to say most of my teachers are pretty good. they aren't to bad to understand either. but it is REALLY REALLY tiring to listen and concentrate in French for hours and hours everyday. but i think it will get better as the year goes on. it feels good to finally be back in school, and actually learning stuff again. i am also meeting more people and that's good too.

so i finally got all my stuff with the bank done here. like getting my debit card (yay, no more international fines). and i deposited my first meal stipend check. i am still waiting to transfer all my US dollars, i am hoping the dollar will get a bit stronger still. i have already "made" almost 200 euros by waiting this long. and i am surprised at that. but soon.

i climbed the mountain again today. we took a bit of a different path to the top. and it was a beautiful day. i mean really perfect. i will try and put of pictures of me and the gang soon. we came down a different way, and actully ended up in a really cool spot. a huge damn. we crossed over the damn. and i got to look down the damn walls. and see the damn water. they were generating when we were there, so we could see the damn water spurting out of the damn holes in the bottom. it was really cool. i have never been to a big damn before. it was like hoover, but much smaller than that. but sill a few hundred feet high. i'll put up some damn pictures soon. (haha. just having some damn fun. like in vegas vacation)

well, i will try and write again next week. sometime soon, i hope.

You are "damn" hilarious with your writing! France sounds fantastic! You will be telling your children and grandchildren these stories one day. I love reading about it. What classes did you decide on? I couldn't quite tell. What's the weather like? It sounds kind of cold. I hope the castle thing works out. I love the description, pics and explanation of the food. Keep that up. News from GA: Turning a little fallish, Highs in the low 70s. UGA beat Tenn. yesterday. Woo-Hoo!!! Love you and miss you!!! Aunt Angie

haha, sounds like a damn good time man. I agree, I wanna hear about the french food too. Hows the burgers over there compared to the real ones. That schedule sounds ridiculous, is it really that much? Cause that's def like 22 hours! That sounds crazy that the longer you wait to cash in your US dollars, the more money you make. Oh, and get this!! Gas is like $3.15, and that's inside Atlanta!! I bet its below $3.10 at home!
